Tashkent, Uzbekistan – October 2026
AeroClass and RGC AvNet have signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the Central Asia Air Cargo Summit #3, marking the start of a partnership focused on raising aviation safety standards through better access to professional training.
The agreement was signed by Catalin Radu, ex-Director General of Kazakhstan CAA and CEO of RGC AvNet, and Julius Norkunas, CEO of AeroClass. The signing was witnessed by H.E. Daniel Cristian Ciobanu, Ambassador of Romania to Uzbekistan, and the Director General of the Civil Aviation Agency of Uzbekistan.
Combining expertise with modern learning
The partnership brings together RGC AvNet’s regulatory, safety and compliance expertise with AeroClass’s digital aviation training platform. RGC AvNet is recognised for its hands-on approach: a team that implements solutions on the ground, not only advises on them. Under the leadership of Catalin Radu, whose extensive aviation experience is widely respected across the industry, RGC AvNet has built a strong reputation among regulators and operators.
By combining this practical knowledge with AeroClass’s accessible, modern learning solutions, the two organisations aim to deliver training that is relevant, credible and easy to access.
Supporting States, CAAs, airlines and airports
Through this cooperation, AeroClass and RGC AvNet will help more countries and Civil Aviation Authorities strengthen their safety oversight capabilities by providing more high-quality training for their specialists. The partnership will also support airlines and airports in developing skilled teams ready to meet international standards.
“This is a new beginning for AeroClass,” said Julius Norkunas, CEO of AeroClass. “Aviation safety is built on people, and people need the right training. RGC AvNet is a team that knows how to get things done, and together we can bring practical, world-class training to the regulators and operators who need it most.”
A future-ready aviation workforce
As aviation evolves rapidly, the industry needs well-trained professionals who can manage new technologies, operational demands and global standards while maintaining the highest levels of safety. The AeroClass and RGC AvNet partnership is a step towards building that workforce.
AeroClass thanks ATO Comm for organising the Central Asia Air Cargo Summit #3 and creating the platform for this milestone.
