Air Cargo, what is it? How does air cargo provide vital supply for our daily lives and the economies of our countries? What are the mechanisms that make the global world of air cargo go around? How do the decisions we take sitting on our couch at home affect air cargo? Join us for an insight into the world of air cargo, a fascinating and underestimated sector of the global supply chain.
This course will provide you with a global overview of air cargo, the major global supply trade lanes, and what it takes to move a shipment from one side of the world to the other, including a variety of commodities and the various checks and charges that are taken into consideration. We will also provide an overview of the differences between air cargo products, taking a look into the General and Express worlds of air cargo and how they differ.

James Wyatt
James Wyatt is the General Manager of aeroconcept, his own aviation consulting business based in Leipzig Germany. aeroconcept was founded in May 2019. aeroconcept provides consulting services to all sectors of the aviation industry.
A British and German national, James has been in the aviation industry for over 21 years, predominately in cargo.
With working for some of the world’s largest airlines including, Lufthansa Cargo, AeroLogic, Qatar Airways as well as DHL Express and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) James has gained extensive aviation experience.
James has global expertise in a number of areas of the industry including, cargo handling, aircraft handling, flight operations, quality and safety, restricted commodities, auditing and training, aviation IT systems and product management.
