Course description

The environment is one of the most critical global issues of our time - and aviation is at the center of that conversation. As the industry grows, it must balance operational needs with sustainability goals, driving innovation to reduce its environmental footprint.

This course provides an overview of the main environmental challenges aviation faces today, such as emissions, noise, and resource management, alongside the most promising initiatives shaping a sustainable future - including sustainable aviation fuels (SAF), electric and hybrid aircraft, and net-zero strategies.

Participants will gain a clear understanding of how airlines, airports, and regulators are working toward a greener future, while exploring how these solutions can inspire change within their own organizations.
