The airline industry is jumping from one crisis to the other. The oil price was recently at $139 a barrel with an expectation to grow due to negative news and buyers seeking alternative supplies to those from Russia. Longer routings, as Russian, Belarussian, and Ukrainian airspace are closed, will also have an impact not just on fuel, but also on aircraft utilization and resulting frequencies for airlines flying between Europe and Asia.
