Course description
The course is designed to give participants an overview of MRO operation and the principles of maintenance, and to ensure effective use of the key asset of air transport – the aircraft. Participants will learn about the general maintenance philosophy, airworthiness control and how MRO facilities are organized. The lecturer will share the challenges of decision-making in an environment of conflicting requirements of economics, safety and reliability will be discussed.
This course will also cover the important growth drivers of the MRO business and look at the key players in the industry and their success stories. The instructor will also talk about general maintenance workflow and MRO stakeholders and their responsibility.

She works at Emirates’ Skywards Strategy Implementation Office where she specializes in strategic roadmap development, business analysis, process optimization, product vendor assessment, and system implementation. Her career includes key roles at industry leaders such as Emirates Airline, Accenture, UPES, Ramco Systems, Indigo Airline, and Air India.
Bharati brings deep expertise in digital transformation, operational efficiency, and sustainable aviation, with notable research contributions in Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) and Green Airports. A Certified ScrumMaster and IATA Trainer, she is committed to driving innovation, training, and strategic initiatives to advance the future of aviation.
Ms. Singh is also associated as a consultant and subject matter expert with Aerospace Aviation Skill Sector Council, part of NSDC India, and Aviation University in India to provide extensive training and consulting in the field of Aviation MRO, Airline Commercials & operations.
