Quality Assurance and Compliance Monitoring

Course description

Quality assurance and compliance monitoring are central pillars of safe, efficient, and sustainable aviation operations. In an increasingly complex regulatory environment, aviation organizations must move beyond “checking compliance” toward building structured systems that continuously assure conformity, manage findings, and drive improvement across all operational areas.

This class provides a comprehensive and practical understanding of how a Compliance Monitoring System and Quality Assurance framework function within EASA-regulated organizations. Participants will explore regulatory expectations, organizational roles and responsibilities, compliance oversight processes, and the interaction between quality, safety, and human factors.

The training emphasizes system-based compliance monitoring, effective oversight, structured issue identification, corrective action management, and management evaluation, supported by established compliance verification and monitoring practices.

By the end of the class, participants will understand how to design, manage, and continuously improve a compliant and effective quality assurance and compliance monitoring system that supports both regulatory obligations and operational excellence.

Why you should attend?

Regulatory compliance alone is no longer sufficient to ensure safe and resilient aviation operations. Authorities increasingly expect organizations to demonstrate effective compliance monitoring, proactive assurance, and continuous improvement, not just the absence of findings.

This training addresses why quality assurance and compliance monitoring are more critical than ever in today’s aviation environment - marked by regulatory change, organizational complexity, technological advancement, and increased scrutiny. Participants will gain a system-level understanding of how compliance oversight supports safety performance, operational stability, and organizational credibility.

Whether responsible for managing a CMS, supporting audits, or contributing to management evaluation, this course helps participants move from reactive compliance to structured, value-adding assurance.
