Crew Resource Management
Improve flight safety and operational efficiency by understanding the principles of crew resource management and how human factors impact decision-making, communication, and teamwork in both cockpit and cabin environments.
@ Aeroclass
Course description
Crew Resource Management (CRM) is a cornerstone of aviation safety, designed to enhance teamwork, communication, situational awareness, and decision-making across both cockpit and cabin environments. This training strengthens the competencies required to manage threats, errors, and unexpected events while promoting a proactive and collaborative safety culture.
This class integrates psychological, physiological, and operational human-factor principles, exploring how individual behavior, team coordination, and organizational influences shape performance. Participants examine real operational scenarios through case studies, group activities, and discussions that reflect normal, non-normal, and emergency conditions. The training covers critical elements such as human performance and limitations, workload management, assertiveness, resilience, communication challenges, and cross-cultural dynamics.
Aligned with airline operational procedures and industry best practices, this CRM class helps crews build shared mental models, enhance coordination, and reduce the likelihood of human error.
Note: If Initial CRM training is required, the duration extends to 2 days (18 hours, with a minimum of 12 hours in classroom).
