This course specifically addresses the techniques and skills required for effective selection and it will provide participants with knowledge and practical skills that will enable them to conduct effective interviews and thereby improve their ability to make effective selection decisions.

At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Complete a Job Analysis Grid - an essential element of preparation
- Handle essential preparation requirements whether for face to face or virtual interviews
- Prepare Competency Based questions
- Recognize and eliminate common interviewer errors
- Conduct effective interviews whether as part of a panel or one to one
- Recognize the ‘prepared’ candidate - using the ‘Application’ question
- Judge or evaluate candidate answers
- Factor in potential Unconscious Bias
