Course description
Aircraft pushback is a critical ground handling activity that requires precise coordination, clear communication, and strict adherence to safety procedures. Effective pushback operations are essential for preventing aircraft damage, protecting ground personnel, and ensuring safe and timely aircraft departures.
This training provides participants with a structured understanding of aircraft pushback procedures, operational responsibilities, and safety requirements in accordance with relevant industry standards, including IATA AHM and IGOM, and applicable ISAGO requirements. The class covers the preparation and execution of pushback operations, coordination between ground personnel and flight crews, and the safe use of pushback equipment.
Combining theoretical instruction with practical exercises, the training also addresses hazard identification, communication procedures, and the management of abnormal situations. Participants will develop the knowledge and skills needed to perform pushback duties safely, professionally, and in accordance with established operational procedures.
The training is available in English and Russian.
