Crisis Management and Communication in the Airline Environment
Be prepared! Acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes to effectively manage crises and emergencies in the airline environment.
@ Aeroclass
Course description
Airlines and operators are required to maintain Emergency Response Plans (ERP) that clearly define crisis management procedures, responsibilities, and communication protocols. Yet, when real-world emergencies occur, organizations often face significant gaps between expectations and operational realities.
This training addresses the complexities of crisis management in aviation, where operators are only one part of a broader, multi-agency emergency response framework. Participants will explore the challenges of coordination, leadership, and communication under pressure - all critical to minimizing both immediate impact and long-term damage.
Through case studies, practical exercises, and scenario discussions, attendees will gain insights into crisis dynamics, leadership principles, and media handling techniques. The course ensures that participants are not only compliant with regulatory requirements but also confident and capable when managing real-world crises.
