A passionate aviation specialist with wide experience and deep knowledge of many aspects of the Aviation Industry spanning over 30 years. As s Commercial Pilot License (CPL) license holder, Jimmy has flown some of the well-known celebrities of this world, including Clint Eastwood and the Warner Brothers, among others. As a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), Jimmy appreciates the importance of maintaining the airworthiness of aircraft.
A passionate scholar and a gentleman, Jimmy also holds an MBA degree in International Business Management from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa, besides a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management from the same University.
Jimmy is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), having satisfied the examination requirements of the Institute. As a high-profile achiever, Jimmy won the Arthur Beckenham prize for the “best overall performance (worldwide) for Corporate Strategy and Policy in Transport, in the Qualifying Examinations for that year.
In the industry, Jimmy has worked for United Air Charters, DHL AVIATION where he was part of the team of four that established DHL Aviation in Sub-Saharan Africa with which he spent 24 years in various management roles like Network Control Manager, Commercial Manager, Operations Manager, Quality and Standards Manager for Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe, Quality, Safety, Security and Dangerous Goods Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa. Over the years, Jimmy has trained and imparted his aviation knowledge to many people in different grades of employment.
Jimmy is currently running his own Aviation Consultancy Company, Tailored Aviation Solutions and Consultants, trading as TASC Aviation Consultants. Among other achievements, TASC Aviation has been applauded and recognized for its dedication and commitment to delivering Lifesaving Medicines to people living with HIV and AIDS in Africa.
Jimmy loves sharing and imparting his knowledge and experience onto others, hence his keen interest in training others.
